I bought my one year warranty through SquareTrade for a 26″ Westinghouse LCD. I wanted something beyond my 90 day warranty. It was well worth the $30. After 9 months I was having trouble turning the TV on. It would no longer power on. I filed a claim online and was sent a prepaid box via UPS within 5 days. I returned the TV and received a status report every other day. On the fifth day I was told they were unable to repair the TV. I was reimbursed for the full amount I paid for the TV via Paypal within two days. Excellent communication and excellent customer service!

You don’t even have to SUBMIT anything UNTIL you file your claim. If the product never brakes, you will never need to claim anything. Just save receipt and you’re good to go. Now with Amazon, you don’t even have to do that!!!
